Use Sony’s model-number instructions to locate the CFI identifier. Compare the model code, not a private serial number. Do not post your serial publicly.
Why two smaller Digital models have different storage
The October 2023 announcement specified 1TB for both smaller configurations. The later CFI-2115 manual lists 1TB for the disc configuration and 825GB for Digital. Neither statement defines every regional revision. Advertised storage also differs from space available for games. N17 · N14
Adding a disc drive
Verify the exact console family against Sony’s current drive setup instructions. A compatible drive must be fitted and paired using an internet connection. A disc-based upgrade continues to need the original disc when playing; adding a drive does not remove license conditions. N12 · N11
