First identify how you obtained the game

Check whether the base game was separately bought, claimed as a Monthly Game, or accessed from the Game Catalog. A downloaded icon alone does not tell you which entitlement you have. Use official Plus support for account-specific checks.

Canceling renewal versus losing access

Canceling stops the next renewal; benefits continue until the paid period ends. Monthly Games require a qualifying active membership, while catalog titles also need to remain in the applicable catalog. A paid add-on does not itself supply a missing base-game license. N27 · N28 · N29

Premium is not a worldwide tier name

Streaming availability and tiers depend on country. The Malaysia page used in this research describes Essential, Extra and Deluxe; do not substitute Deluxe for Premium and promise cloud streaming. This reference is not a live all-country price or game-catalog database. N30

Two common examples

If you bought a base game separately using a Plus discount, membership expiry is different from losing a catalog license. If you bought DLC for a catalog game that leaves, you may still need to acquire the base game. Check the exact license and game offer before paying again. N28 · N29
